Public Comments Requested on Pollutant Reduction Plan

Upper Merion Township has drafted a Pollutant Reduction Plan (PRP) and is requesting public comment until September 2, 2017.

The plan is required by the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) General Permit for Stormwater Discharges from Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4). The Township’s draft PRP will be submitted to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) by the September 16, 2017 deadline.

Comments can be mailed to PRP Comments (MIPP), 175 West Valley Forge Road, King of Prussia, PA 19406 or emailed to umtinfo@umtownship.org with “PRP Comments” in the subject line. The Township will also accept verbal comments at the regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Supervisors on August 24, 2017. All timely comments received during the public comment period will be considered by the Township. A copy of all comments received and a record of consideration will be included with the final PRP submitted to DEP.
